What
is the minimum area required to operate a laser skirmish activity?
Indoors: A hall the size of a basket ball court
(room must be factored in for things like birthday tables etc)
Outdoors: An area the minimum size of a tennis court although the
larger the area, the greater variety of scenarios can be run!
Backyards and parks with trees are ideal.
Do
you use real lasers & is the infrared light dangerous to the
opponents eyes?
No real laser is used. We use the same infrared
emitters used in 90% of all remote controls. They are completely safe
and harmless!
How
does the equipment work?
The equipment uses an infrared light to emit a
coded signal. The signal is picked up by thee sensors worn on the head
and the sensor of the competitor’s tagger. The information
goes through the on board computer to register the hit on the taggers.
The tagger says "Ouch" and the 4 sensors flash to indicate the hit. A
life is deducted.
Do
the taggers make a noise?
Yes each tagger has both SCI-FI noises and many
real, modern day, military sounds. Every time you shoot, reload, get
hit or deactivate the tagger, it speaks to you.
What
is the youngest age?
The tagger weighs 2.5kg. An average 8 to 9 year
old (and older) can comfortably carry the tagger for the length of the
skirmish.
What if it
rains?
We play, unless it is a thunderstorm. Playing
in the rain is very authentic.
Games canceled due to weather
can be postponed
to the next available date for both parties.
What
sort of scope is used?
A professional red/green dot battery-operated
scope: 1x magnification.
How
accurate/ sensitive are the sensors?
The sensors are durable, have 360 degrees
sensitivity and are highly sensitive.
What
variety is there with the inflatable bunkers?
Our bunkers come in a range of shapes and sizes
from large logs lying on the ground to large walls to build headquarter
bunkers and mazes. The walls have been designed to be linked together
using toggles or to stand alone using toggles with camping pegs.
How
long does it take to inflate the inflatable bunkers?
A full set up takes approx 1.5hours and is
suited to open locations like playing fields, tennis courts and indoor
courts.
What
sort of surface is recommended as safe for the inflatable bunkers?
The inflatable bunkers have been designed for
both indoor and outdoor surface use. Rough concrete surfaces are not
ideal for laser skirmishes anyway. Grassed
surfaces are ideal as they offer a softer surface in the event of
falling and also it easy to peg the bunkers to the ground.
What
methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfer
and cheques with prior arrangment.
